The Great Lakes District-in-Formation was erected on 1 January 2009

Its headquarters is at Nairobi, in Kenya. The District includes South Africa, Angola, Democratic Republic of Congo,Kenya, Tanzania and Zambia,.The GLDF has 48 permanent members, 36 temporary members and 49 other students. It has its headquarters in Lome, Togo. GGDF members come from these countries mentioned above except Sierra Leone.
To date we have 10 students in the preparatory year, 25 in philosophy, Spirirtual 4 years, 6 to step 7 in theology, 6 deacons, 8 seconded members and 48 priests.
